So, recently I've noticed that the kit Bust the dust isn't working properly in my game. I've read simmers have had problems with dust never showing up but for me it's there constantly even though my sims are cleaning all.the.time. This can't be right? They vacum their whole lot and when returning home after being out for a walk for example there is dust bunnies and filth everywhere again.Even the robot vacumer cleaner stoppes working after one round of cleaning..Anyone else have this problem in game? It's too bad because I love the idea of my sims cleaning the house and really don't want to turn the dust function off in game, but it's the only option for not having my sims do nothing but cleaning :(

Huh nope haven’t personally had this issue. Dust appears every few days like it’s supposed to. This was an initial issue but should have been fixed a few patches ago. Have you tried a game repair?

Since these latest patches the home maid doesnt do much at all. Before she would have her own vacum cleaner and use it frequently. I've also tried to gift vacum cleansers to the maids but it doesnt work at all :D They don't even clean the houses anymore so it's really annoying. Yeah and the robot cleaners doesn't work at all. I've kept buyng new ones but it doesnt help at all. May I ask if you're playing with any mods or without?

I have a full house of 8 sims living in a two story house, each floor has one robo vacuum, not yet upgraded and its working ok with no issues. My robo vacuum cleans automatically every 12 hours and only needs to be cleaned out every third time. I do not use mods though, do you use any mods that might cause this?

That sounds reasonable. But I only have two sims in my gameplay and still a lot of dust if they don’t clean every floor every day :/

Sorry for the late reply, I've had no time to come by.
I did add quite a few mods, progressively, in order to fix or improve many aspects I'm not satisfied with. They're mods from LittleMsSam and some are directly relevant with the issues here... but I'm sad to say they didn't have the expected results eventhough some things are nicer with them.

No worries! Same here. It’s a shame that we should have to use mods to fix the game. I guess I will look into the mods that you mentioned. Thank you so much for the tip ? Sorry to here though that you’re still not satisfied with the results even while using them :(

The maids no longer use the vacuums in my game but I think my roombas still work. On ps4.
