I noticed that even if you click the checkbox for a different party type, you have to also click on the name to make sure the entire box for that party type is highlighted in green. If you just click the check box for another party, Spooky Party is still highlighted in green and it makes a Spooky Party.
Yes this is true. This happened to me as well and this is what I did.
