Buying Vacation Homes [Outdoor Retreat / Jungle Adventure]

We should be able to buy & own vacation houses in Granite Falls & Selvadorada. (Maybe through a PC) Then we would be able to go on vacation without cost, be able to edit the vacation lot to our likin...

Would the family that owned the property always say yes? Or would it depend on the relationship and/or Sims' traits?
