As to the renting aspect, I was thinking about how Sims that own the vacation house could earn money weekly while they're not staying there, because the worlds are so small and if you're playing with another family you might still want to rent this house, even if it's owned by someone else. In return the other family gets a set amount of money every week, creating the illusion that the vacation house is always rented
And maybe there could be some surprises upon returning to your vacation house like things that are broken or trash is lying around the house.
its a great idea. some people live off rental income so why cant our sims? exactly regarding the surprises. this would create a bad image of the renter but if things are left clean, it creates a good reputation
