Can alien hybrids be anything else?

That's surprising. I assumed the game still considered them aliens, or at the very least, already an occult, and wouldn't allow them to be assigned a different occult status.

That's surprising. I assumed the game still considered them aliens, or at the very least, already an occult, and wouldn't allow them to be assigned a different occult status.

Now, this was before they "fixed" hybrids, so things may have changed, but half-aliens don't seem to actually be considered occult, and unlike all the reports I read with other, "full" hybrids, I never had any problems or glitching with her.

It's probable that half-aliens can't be born into another occult status, and have to undergo whatever transformation is suitable for the other occult type.

Sigh.... I spent all my game time last night trying to fix my alien-mermaid hybrid twins. The girl is pretty successful, but the boy is a mess because of glitches.

What kinds of glitches do you get with him?

I already have a wife picked out for him, who's also an alien hybrid, but maybe one of his kids can marry another occult, and I can experiment with it that way. I might also pair one of my other full aliens with an occult and see what I get. I have always wanted to get a hybrid without having to cheat (that's not an alien).

I have a family where the father is a vampire and the mother is an alien, and all four kids were conceived by woohoo. They have one regular vampire kid, and three vampire/alien hybrid kids with alien plumbobs, green skin, their father's eyes, and vampire needs icons. They're all still Toddlers (the oldest is almost ready to age up to Child, though), so I'm crossing my fingers that they don't glitch out too badly...

When he swims, he has no lower half. His true appearance constantly changes. This drives me crazy because I want my Sims to look the same all the time. I've decided that what the game considers his "disguise" is actually his true appearance. He seems to glitch especially when he goes swimming. Both he and his twin sister have hydration that vanishes too quickly.

What are the alien interactions you alien/sim hybrid can do? I didn't know they could also inherit alien interactions.

I have a sim that was born half mermaid, half spellcaster. I didn't use any cheats with him, and he does everything both types do. I think my game is glitching out though because he's now walking around completely naked (no blurs) and it won't change.
