I hadn't thought about it until now but I am hoping that they are not controllable because that lifestage IRL is pretty much uncontrollable. Infants learn from the direction given by the adult caring for them. Like @annalephant I had thought about how we could gain some control over them as they learn. If they are uncontrollable I am sure the wonderful modding community will soon develop a tool that will allow them to be controlled although that obviously isn't any help if you are unable to use mods due to playing on a console or just prefer not to. However they are given to us though I am just very excited that they are coming!!
