@SelinaKyles Thank you so much! That was exactly what I wanted to know. The saves and the personal library are all accessible, they'll just remove/swap out missing content.
@Starfree There will probably be a lot of households getting separate accounts now that the base game is going to be free. It's nice knowing that saves will still be there, even if the purchased items won't be.
