Indeed. Players have the tools to prevent the break-ins so there's absolutely no reason to leave them in such a state in which the people who were the real target audience for the pack; who actually wanted and enjoyed their vampires had their fun nerfed to oblivion.
Oh, I had completely forgotten about that since my vampires are like never very angry. But I now actually remember it happening once when I was messing around testing a mean interaction mod (which ended up making a vampire enraged and suddenly drinking from a nearest sim) but I was then wondering if that was part of the mod. I'm glad if an interaction like this exists in the vanilla game.
