I don't know why but this seems to help me with my headaches. I use an oil burner, and burn Clary Sage. Like you @Cinebar I get cluster headaches as well as aura migraine.
When I feel that stabbing pressure start on the side of my head and use the Clary Sage it almost feels like it's releasing the pressure, or opening up the blood vessels which seems to help me. I only use 1 or 2 drops as any more can be quite overpowering. I just prefer using this to prescription medication which I never find works for me, and has way too many side effects.
