I don't get headaches.
I think you should visit your optometrist, tell them what's happening, and then ask if there are any lenses, medicine, etc. that aid in preventing these migraines and headaches.
It's also good that the Guru's are made aware of this issue. I really like the main menu, but I suppose it depends on whether EAxis wants to be more inclusive to people who physically suffer when playing the game. I think it's also up to you to take the necessary precautions, especially if you know that you get these migraines/headaches and it's not just TS4 that causes them.
I appreciate this information however, I just went not long ago and was prescribed tri focal lenses. Which were a bit expensive. And the last time I saw my doctor concerning these cluster headaches was a few years ago (though I have been twice a year since for other reasons) and I was given an open prescription as needed. Yes, the cluster headaches at that time were from doing a humongous amount of paper work on the job and then transferring all that information on a daily basis to a computer application which would make one think my gosh, eye strain!
Now, this was a few years ago, and though I suffer with sinus (and have meds for that, too) I'm not one who wants to rely on meds everyday of my life. If at all. The last time I had headaches of this nature and that bad and intense were in the nineties and I had to do a CAT scan. So, yes, my headaches are something that reoccur, but the one last doctor I saw about other medical problems (not the one I see now) did tell me to stop using the PC. Which I couldn't do because it was part of my job requirements at the time. It's like that old joke, Doctor this hurts. Well, stop doing that. lol
And though it sounds like this is a disability of mine, and my problem, it's odd I haven't suffered these type headaches to this extent and with this much intensity until I did play the TS4. I have done everything possible in opinion to compensate my own disability. Saw doctors in the past if this occurred, went to get my eyes checked, had X rays, and CAT scans, etc. And for the life of me I don't understand why a simple game caused them to come back after years of being absent from my life, even though I played hundreds of other games since then, and kept on working with a PC on my job.
But I appreciate the advice to go to the doctor or to see the eye doctor again, when a simple color change may be the solution.
