I cannot see dark colours very well therefore the current colour of the UI suits me very well. The only problem I have is with the size of some of the icons.
I also understand a lot about migraines. They can be totally disabling. Strong white light is a known trigger particularly if the light flickers.
I would support changes to the colour of the UI proving there were options. I would be happy to loose loading screens altogether but again I don't see why there shouldn't be optional colour changes. I would quite like she'll pink myself :)
That would seem the best solution to me. What I don't understand is the unnecessary bickering this topic has attracted. Surely the whole community would want everyone to be comfortable when playing ? I am glad to hear the devs are aware and hope a solution is easy to implement.
It matters not who proposed the changes or who came up with the solution of options. What matters is we all work with the devs to achieve a successful outcome which suits as many players as possible.
Aww Betty. I didn't know that. Thank you for sharing a personal story about yourself. Hopefully there can be a solution that will work with everyone. There is a way to change the UI size found here: modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=545908 Size 80 or 90 can work well. I hope this helps you out. I have mine set to 90 because the small icons were bothering my eyes too. It's nice because it even makes the diamond of the loading screen bigger too as the number decreases. So you can experiment and see what size works best for you.
