I cannot see dark colours very well therefore the current colour of the UI suits me very well. The only problem I have is with the size of some of the icons.
I also understand a lot about migraines. They can be totally disabling. Strong white light is a known trigger particularly if the light flickers.
I would support changes to the colour of the UI proving there were options. I would be happy to loose loading screens altogether but again I don't see why there shouldn't be optional colour changes. I would quite like she'll pink myself :)
That would seem the best solution to me. What I don't understand is the unnecessary bickering this topic has attracted. Surely the whole community would want everyone to be comfortable when playing ? I am glad to hear the devs are aware and hope a solution is easy to implement.
It matters not who proposed the changes or who came up with the solution of options. What matters is we all work with the devs to achieve a successful outcome which suits as many players as possible.
Thank you for saying this. I am for choices. I understand 'white' is the official color of the TS4, however, I hope they can at least offer some color choices, like MS does for me, lol...seriously. Though that one blue color is the MS Windows Color for years, they give people an option just in case....maybe that is something 'new' The Sims can do which hasn't been done before, not only customize your Sims and your worlds etc. but customize your UI etc. That would really be cool, like years ago when MS allowed players to customize their skins of the Windows Media Player..lol...that was pretty jazzy. I'm sure there are real reasons why they can't do this like that but it would still be cool to have options like that in these games some days...just for the fun of it, and not having to do with headaches. I am always for more choices which make playing more comfortable for everyone. I do my part, by seeing my doctors, and game companies do their part by investigating the claims...it's a win, win.
