Though I do suffer from motion sickness feelings when playing a FPS type game (which is why I don't play many games from first-person perspective), I don't have any trouble with playing The Sims 4. No headaches, no motion sickness, nothing. Reading that people do get headaches from playing makes me feel lucky. And I do feel bad for people not being able to enjoy the sims because of this.
It's inappropriate to hand out advice. I can only say that if something makes me feel bad, I personally limit my time doing that, unless I have a good reason why I should do it anyway (I mean: yes, I don't play FPS; but I do take out the dog for a walk even if it is raining...). And even at work, I make sure I get away from my screen for a couple of minutes every 45 minutes. Or stand up to stretch my legs and back.
Best of luck to everyone who gets headaches or other discomforts from playing the sims.
