I absolutely loved the cut-scenes in the Sims 2! They were fun, and I think they added a lot to your sims. They made major moments in your sims' lives actually seem special. First kiss, marriage, having a baby, I mean, those should be important! Not just get a memory and keep playing like nothing happened. I really think we should get this back. Add your thoughts!

NO.(after a while they become a plague. Maybe only if they'll let us turn them off! But still...) NO.

I always turned these off. I'm a storyteller and I would rather see my sims do the actual kissing and being born and such and take pictures of that.

I love the cut scene they were what made sims2 special. I also miss where you could look at their memories. Looking at how many time they pee themselves is great and all but looking at what your sims has been through was a treasure.

I would like them, but only if they show up once per save. They got a little too hectic at times from what I remember.

Thanks for the responses guys! I still really want them back, but I think I can definitely relate to the getting old thing at times, which is why I really love Bosslaydee's idea:

I would love to have the special events camera back! I loved those little cutscenes so much. I'm one of the few who actually never got tired of them haha

Did people really not know that there was an option to disable the special events camera? Because there definitely was. =p

I noticed it when I installed it on my current PC and upgraded the graphics level ^^

I loved those cut away scenes especially the first kiss one. It was too cute, but I definitely agree with bosslaydee, it should go off when you click the mouse or something, that was the annoying thing. :lol:

If they did happen to bring this back to TS4, they should definitely keep the disabling option, since a lot of people are tired of it after awhile.
