Can we please get some new careers?
I go through the current list with new Sims and feel underwhelmed and bored at this point with the careers we have. CC careers just feel incomplete with the lack of reward objects and chance cards so ...

at this point, i'm really grateful that they finally fixed the detective career so that the clues match the suspect as originally intended. my entire game is laggy since i got the pets EP. so i'm not sure if the detective career is the issue with the lag in game. the lag irritates me to the point of going back to playing TS3 to get my "sims fix".
more choices is always a good thing. (provided it's done well.) i really enjoyed the home decorator and stylist careers in TS3. but we had the color wheel with various patterns that allowed you to create matching furniture sets or outfits. so those careers are probably not doable in TS4.
a lot of really good input. as i always like to say, "variety is the spice of life". i also would really like the ability to start a band. with the clubs able to get together, i'd think that it wouldn't be to terribly difficult to extend that to a band. then again, i'm not a programmer so no idea how difficult that would be.
i agree that it doesn't seem to be that difficult to add rabbit hole jobs. modders do a lot for improving TS4 which always leads me to the question, "why can't the developers do the same"?
