I just noticed that's not the only relationship in my game that got detached after a sim died. I have copies of those sims but the family tree is so big that I don't want to go through the trouble of editing it. I know what you mean though Calico45, I have used copies of sims before. I just wish there was a way to keep a sim dead but not have the family tree break apart when you view it.
Brd709, I've had that issue before trying to reattach children to their parents that got accidently culled. When I restarted my save game, I kept the children and just pretended they were adopted by another couple.
