Just saw this interview... someone asked SimGuruDuke why they excluded the older demographic in the rebrand Video ... and this is his answer lol
In no way was our campaign meant to represent everyone who plays our game. We are not saying you need to be young to play this game. We know that is not the case."
The goal of this was to attract new players into the brand and the game. We wanted to do that by helping them understand why other people play. Not all, but most new players are younger. To grow our brand means reaching new players

At the end i am just asking myself... what has this to do with the actual GAMEPLAY...? Like what kind of features are you trying to sell me? What kind of features comes with the diversity and inclusiv stuff? Only style over substance...
Create your own story ... make some cute diverse Sims and build theyre cute diverse Homes... let them live in cute diverse Worlds... and everything else... well imagination or reused content.
it aint that deep. its wierd that this is they're top selling point. They used to advertise the game in a fun, quirky and lighthearted way, , instead of beeing political correct, social justice. The Game was always inclusive, you could always create whatever you wanted, espacially if you consider using custom content, why is this new now and so differente from the previous ones...? Well okay.
