Can You Become A Singer/Record Songs In Get Famous
I just got Get Famous but I haven’t played yet because my laptop is broken. I know you can mix music but can you record and perform songs to gain fame?

Other creative actions like painting and writing would help too, an thing that is done in public or affecting an audience. Giving a speech will gain you a little fame too, etc. You can pretend your singer is speaking about the importance of music in school, or even promoting his/her latest recording :)
I would add that you should always invite those 7 Sims to accompany your Sim to wherever you've sent them. Also, as another player so very helpfully suggested to me, use a drone to live stream as your Sim is doing those Fame+ interactions. I had my Sim create a Simstagram profile right away and he's always updating that and the Media timeline thing. He's also quick to interact with his fans. It's really very funny when he whips out his cell phone and starts chatting with whomever.
