Can you get Greg to bite you even if your an acquaintance?

I managed to get a sim bit by Greg on their first encounter. My sim came straight out of CAS, Greg was the first sim ever she interacted with. My sim did one of the mean interactions which led to a fight. She got werebies after that fight and became a werewolf after enough time had passed. So it is definitely possible.

Provoke Greg and there's a large chance he'll fight your sim. This will result in werebies in normal sims.

If there is a fight with him (and usually there is) he will bite your sim. He even bites werewolves, but it just sends them into rage nothing more. If you have a human they will get werebies every single time.

do I need a specific relationship level to ask for the bite or is it so that Greg does not have that ability? it's not showing up for Greg, but it does for Kristopher and Rory. I don't want to ruin my relationship by fighting him.

You can ask him to bite your sim, but for him, the interaction is renamed to "Ask for Greg's Gift".
