Can you remove holidays in TS4 Seasons?

I seen you can create your own holidays, but Is it possible to remove the already made holidays- christmas, halloween etc?

On the calendar, click the holiday and then click the trash can icon upper right hand corner.

I delete all the brawl holidays because that is the dumbest holiday I have ever seen.
