  • Buy a dragon plant seed from a retail store. And plant it in the house. ( you can find them on the gallery). That’s what my gypsies did. They would have to go around the worlds picking fruit, and the husband and teenage son would fish and sell them, still was having a problem paying bills, planting one dragon fruit plant inside helped a lot, unless they have changed the amount you can make from them, I haven’t played them lately. Plopsy and nifty knitting, or painting might work too. Oh, and the handyman table. I’m going to put a dumpster on their property ( from echo living) and see how that does too. Breading and selling frogs can help some, if you can get a couple good frogs to breed. Also anything you can dig up, posters and globes from city living. Beach combing from the island pack, DJing in a club at night or playing an instrument in a park or somewhere. . Or you could make them suffer off the grid.
  • Honestly, the easiest way to make money consistently without cheating, (but does get boring) is to spam make paintings or take zillions of photos and sell them.
  • They should add a Beg option or a Start Fundraiser option. If it were an M game I’d say add a Prostitution option. Lol

That's entirely possible with mods, for those who want to go that route :D

I'd go with painting or the Eco living dumpster. With any luck, you can find some really expensive stuff in there, once I got a 14k Scmapple fridge.

I don’t consider motherlode cheating. After all, when a sim decides to go out on their own, they probably wouldn’t do so without being prepared. Give them something to represent their allowance or in the case of a new family, representing their “past” savings.

There kinda is a prostitution and begging option.  A standard non-Lovestruck date going gold rewards you with a VIP bucket that sells out of household inventory for §645, and all you have to do are ten social interactions with about half of them falling into the other category?  I can do that in about an hour and a half sim-wise, two tops.  If you get your sim out and dating back to back (and who cares if it's with the same person), you'll be making around 300-400 an hour just selling the VIP Buckets when you get home.  You can't beat that with a rabbithole chance card!
