First of all, this is not a bug or glitch, it's simply that I can't really resize objects at all. The game works fine.I know that the cheat for that is Shift + [ ... but really, 1) my fingers can't even reach that, they're not long enough :lol: how do you guys even do it?! (and I don't have small hands, at all), 2) I don't have a single key for [, in order to make that symbol I need to press ctrl + alt + è and 3) yes, I'm using an italian keyboard, not the US one. Pretty much, I'm going insane because of this. Is there anybody in here that can help me?

Hello.We no longer need to press the shift key to enlarge items. We can just press the keys to enlarge/reduce items.Try using just the combination that you need to make the symbol, without pressing the shift key.

It's true @rosemow I don't need to press shift anymore.I found out that objects can be resized by pressing ' and ì on the italian keyboard - which are placed on the - and = keys on the uk/us keyboard.I find that a bit snappy tho, the objects jump in size quite a lot the very first time you try to resize them.

Finnish keyboard also has different keys for resizing :D At first it was so annoying because everyone kept saying ''oh it's like this'' and I'm sat there like ''nothing's happening'' :'D With Finnish keyboards the sizing up is ''Å'' and sizing down ''`'' :D

its been a while since i tried to resized an object all i recall is it was a bit trickier then i would have thought in case this is helpful see this how to to see if you are missing a step

I cant do it still I tried all of it and it didnt work my computer is a US COMPUTER and the US version is NOT WORKING so please help....

@WolfShireGamer if you have already placed the object. Click on it then press the key then move your mouse, to move the object. It should resize after you move it.

When you select an item out of Buy mode don't click to place it. Press the keys to resize it before you place it.

Sometimes for me, it worked just pressing the keys.
But then I had times where I had to use SHIFT key before the
I am not sure what causes it...
Sometimes I think it's the patches glitching it, but don't know for sure...

Did you tried to repair the game in Origin?
(In Origin, right click on the Sims 4, and repair)

Hey guys ! Can anyone explain to me why i can make objects smaller than their original sizes while you can't and i can't make them bigger while you can ???? I destroyed 2 keyboards because of it ... can anyone help please!!!!

You can make objects smaller than their original size because one of the updates added that capability. I don't know why you can't make them larger.
