I think occasionally Simmers may feel that if a pack/update that they don't want is being developed then it delays the release of things that they do want.
It's easy to forget that we are sharing our beloved game with millions of other players. It's really easy for Sims to feel like it's made especially for you and only you (so how dare they release a pack that you don't want), but it is important to remember that the "ideal Sims game" is different for everyone.
I don't particularly want cars myself, but lots of other people (who love Sims just as much as me) do, so if it happens I'm happy for them and I'll just wait and hope that my ideal pack is made one day.
Also, yes, there are mods for things but not everyone has access to mods! (Or wants to use them).
As for the hint, is this a story about someone driving their loft away during a dramatic chase scene? :lol:
I thinks there's been more possible hints that have turned out to be nothing rather than something lately. I don't know if this is a hint or not, but I do suspect we'll be getting cars soon. My fingers are crossed for those who want that. :smile:
