Career Promotions....

Is it sometimes harder for your sim in a get to work career to get to the last level of the job? First, I had my Sim go alone cause I was getting tired of going with her all the time and doing the same things but no promotion and she was close and had done all the things she needed to do. The next day, I went with her and worked very hard at finishing everything and still nothing. I haven't played since, since I was getting frustrated. I do have the Carl's game play mod but I'm pretty sure everything is set to easy and she didn't have trouble getting her other promotions. I was just wondering if it was glitch, or if it was just harder to reach the last level? It's the last thing I need to do before I can go onto my next legacy so now I'm just antsy lol.

    It does sound like a glitch. If you use the UI Cheats mod you can use that to get her promoted. I haven't played the careers in Get to Work but I have read where some players were having issues with promotions. Especially the Detective one. But if you go an entire Sim week with her being stuck, I'd say you are experiencing a glitch. You might also try deleting the LocalThumbcache then repairing your game. That will sometimes get things straightened out.

    Hi @wylmite1986 what does the performance bar say? I don't mean the bar for that day, I mean the overall bar in your career tab like this

    No but it hasn’t really been that far when she’s gotten promoted. I haven’t been able to play yet but if she still isn’t promoted to level ten I guess I’ll just have to cheat it which sucks cause I don’t like using those kind of cheats if I can help it. But in this case I may have to. Oh and she’s a scientist. Forgot
    To say what job she did.
