I do wish there were a few more 30x40 lots rather than so many 20x30 and smaller ones in this pack. I normally like 20x30, but that just seems a bit small to own a horse. I guess I will see when I get the pack. - AncientMuse22 years agoSeasoned Ace

Perhaps the linedance dancefloor has stronger attraction values to nearby sims? Stronger than other dance floors, I mean, and definitely stronger than the barcounter :)
Ah yes, good thought! That's probably what it is then..... Because I've never seen that many sims autonomously dancing on a dance floor in any bar, lounge, or nightclub I've ever gone to in the game. - evilyn_372 years agoSeasoned Ace

Yes, similar to the bar in Selvadorada. Where the Sims will autonomously dance Rumba. - Ziafar2 years agoSeasoned AceUsually Sims gather around the DJ instead of dancing
- Karamazov1232 years agoSeasoned AceIt's so weird that so many lots are small, even though the main selling point of the pack requires a lot of space. Guess they're banking on us using all the space around the world.
Anyway, here are my plans for the world.Spoilerhttps://i.imgur.com/j7sqC0J.png
1. If the new animals don't take up too much of my space, my main sims will move their farm here. If they do, then I might make this the site of an alien ship crash, and occults will come here to meet up and spar.
2. Home to my hermit witch sim.
3. Vacation lot.
4. Will be replaced with a hotel/apartment. Once all the sims move out, it'll be a "hotel" (a restaurant with beds upstairs.)
5. Will largely stay the same, except I might build a bowling alley in the basement.
6 and 8. Will stay the same.
7. Will be replaced with an '80's diner. It'll be one in a chain of restaurants I have in my game.
9. If lot 1 is too small, my sims will move here.
10. Will be replaced
11. Home to my cowgirl sim.
12. Residential lot.
13. A "nectary" (Retail lot) where sims can buy an item as a ticket, then pick grapes and make their own nectar.
Woulda loved 2 more lots in the middle area of the map, cause I really wanted an arcade and a public pool. - Simmerville2 years agoLegendI wonder if horses will actually be aware of whether they sleep under a roof or not? As being household members they might be aware if they get wet from rain etc, but I'm pretty sure my sims living on small lots wanting a horse will try improvising some not-so-fancy accommodation for it ;) I mean, why should there not be a difference between a poor folks' horse and the horse owned by the wealthiest nectar&horse&goat&sheep rancher of he region?

it would have been nice to fit restaurant actually i wonder if Kine society would be interested in running one
as for arcade and pool
I have those in Mirage Canyon (Oasis Springs)
which i consider to also be part of Strangetown
so in case you have space there and are open to the whole world combining thing that could work
or Strangerville obviously if its not completely stuffed like mine
and about lot sizes i actually love that we have some small lots and big lots where small houses don't look odd cause I really like playing those types of houses so much more
only lot that i feel to be little bit too small is the rental in GG cause there definitely could have been like 30x20 there and it would have given some wiggle room- Karamazov1232 years agoSeasoned Ace

Oh dang, I forgot about StrangerVille. StrangerVille is difficult for me because I headcanon-ed it as being the next town over, so my sims can visit. Oasis Springs is farther, but not too too much farther.
But pools and arcades are meant for kids, and they wouldn't be able to walk to the next town without getting into trouble with their parents. But since you reminded me of StrangerVille, I could always have my sims go to the bar there, and the the bar in Chestnut Ridge could be made into a public pool with an arcade inside the building! - alanmichael12 years agoSeasoned AceOne striking thing about TS4 worlds is that before and after Windenburg we never ever got a public pool lot again while they were absolute standard (and often the highlight) in every TS3 world.

pool thoughts that got too wordy and i don't want to drown this thread :lol:Spoiler
Selvadorada does have pool in the jungle
San Myshuno has pool in penthouse lounge
Brindleton Bay also has lounge pool
I'm pretty sure there is pool in Britechester (Foxbury commons) or did i place that one idk anymore
when base game first released there was no pools which excuses Oasis Springs and Willow Creek
Newcrest has no premade builds which excuses Newcrest
Occult worlds are excused because occults don't have new things to do with pools (well unless you invent some)
Sulani you wouldn't need one cause you can swim everywhere
I also feel like there is nothing particularily country about swimming pools and there is off lot swimming areas so henford is excused
Strangerville I wonder if pools don't have same motherplant effects as other plumbing which might have been inconsistent if they added pool, there also is not much room for a pool venue on that map anyway
Evergreen Harbor pool?
Granite falls pool?
idk really doesn't give off add pool vibes
some worlds that i think could have had pool but:Spoiler
• Del Sol Valley -but there is those bling residentials that have pools instead so like hmm guess they just didn't feel its a need to have more I have been considering since I couldn't fit pool on judiths lot and it was rather heartbreaking
•Mt.Komorebi -but there is onsen and swimming area in world instead which is more fun and better fit to the world, i did build fake school and add pool to its basement there myself however so i have one
• Magnolia Promenade - but theres really nothing for pools in get to work either and its very few lots meant for shopping so idk
•Copperdale -but the lots are small and I guess you could add one for school if wanted there just isn't one cause idk maybe they didn't want sims to forget themselves swimming mid classes or such and there is the off lot swimming areas in this world too
• San Sequoia - it does have off lot swimming but i guess there could have been pool in one of those lots, might add one in Gilberts actually
• Tartosa - but.... what? I guess theres all the swimming off lot so they didn't feel it was needed I added roman bath lot with pool myself though
•Chestnut Ridge - swimming off lot and i don't think that theres any particular interaction between these animals and pools so it might have just slipped their minds its option
as for pools being highlight in ts3 though I quite disagree
I always sent my sims into the sea instead
