Both of my sims are in the freelance crafter career but their toddler got a phone call saying that he needs to pick up gigs. The TODDLER got the call! Must be a bug but I laughed hard.

Since Eco Lifestyle came out all my Sims get popups twice a day about gigs even if they are not in the freelancer career or have the maker trait. It's annoying because it interferes with my immersion into the game. It's intrusive like the earbud message that they just got rid of. I can't even imagine playing with 8 Sims right now. It's bad enough to play with 2 Sims who get 4 messages a day. 16 messages a day might break the game for me.
When the pack first came out when I was playing a maker Sim who was in the freelancer career it was annoying. She would just complete a job and within minutes it would pop up again. They need to fix it. It's the main reason why I dislike the any freelancer careers.
