Column angle

Please, make the columns always fit to a square base. Since the forum won't allow me to post a picture for some reason, pleaase figure it out yourself what I mean.

I wonder, do you mean like have the column fit directly under a ceiling without the tip of the column sticking out? If so, that has always bothered me in the game and is one of the reasons why I don't commonly build porches.

No, I mean the inner square of a house wall, the column always adjusts its position to be in the center of the angle, instead of following the square grid. So if I have columns on the entrance and on the inner wall, their angles won't match.

If you activate moveobjects on cheat you can place them aligned with the grid.

I meant, when the wall angle is other than 90 degrees, the column adjusts to the center of that angle instead of the base square grid.
  • Doesn't it work when you turn the column with the comma/period keys?
