If Cats and Dogs is anything close to previous pet packs it could be more than 3GB, and for those with slow net, that could mean several hours!EA has confirmed that certain retailers will get a proper DVD package and they will be able to install straight off a disc! I have to add that this isn't the case for Australia anymore (which is bothersome for me being a country bumpkin! :| ). When you go to preorder the expansion from EB Games Oz it warns you that it's a digital download and no physical disc is provided. Was worried we'd end up like the US, and here we are...

This happens every time in the past year or so. You have to be online first before it will recoginize your other packs already installed. I hate Origin.

Does anyone know if the UK/England will have an actual disk please thank you.

@littlemisstorm I've just checked Amazon.co.uk and it just has the code number in the box version for £29.99 (Download only - no CD). So far.Game.co.uk has it as £32.99.

Complaint: I want to purchase Cats & Dogs DVD ROM. I found it on E-Bay with the correct packaging, only to find out after purchase that the DVD ROM has been removed by Origin at source. What is going on ? I expect what I pay for not some download code.

Game UK have recently added Cats & Dogs with the format listed as PC DVD-ROM. However, given what others have experienced with other retailers I do not know if this is an error and again just a code in a box.

Argos Q&A now confirms theirs is a code in a box.

Just got a second C&D today from tesco and guess what!? Still no bloody disk!!! I am starting to think that we may of been lied to. I wish I could start my own topic so I could complain!! So angry that I have spent £34.00 on a box with a piece of paper when I could have got it cheap else where for just the code!

I'm with everyone else get what u pay for I'm a collector I would like the box with a disc , or put the price down please £34 is a bit much , if this is the way it's going all digital , then why wasn't we as customers told , yes EA did say some stores in some country's will have it on disc but again where , I've gone everywhere can't find it

Are there any germans or austrians here who either know, where to get a guaranteed disc version or bought the supposedly "DVD" version from Media Markt, Saturn or Thalia? They all use the cover image that promises a DVD for PC and a download code for Mac (Amazon only seems to sell the "download only" version), so the same thing Moodbeamy's already had a problem with.
