Constant Crashes after last update? Anyone else?

I can't even play Sims 4, but wanted to know if others had this issue as well or if it was just me. Hit the play button, a window pops up for maybe a second, and then Steam shows the play button again...

I've only had one time when my game totally crashed on me. I was trying to add a new family into my save and it just crashed. I took it as a sign, they weren't to move in at this moment. I was able to get right back in and play my game for awhile, so I have no real clue as to what happened. I always clear the localthumbcache.package before I play and any and ALL Last Exceptions and/or Crashes, too.
