Admittedly it was a very hot night but I've never seen Shep sleep in the garden before. I think he was guarding the chickens:

It got a bit stormy and I was worried about the chickens:

The rain was good for the plants though:

The babies got out just before the storm began. Luckily I was able to get them back to their Mummy hens before it got too scary:
