Wow, I just love seeing what everybody is coming up with.
I'm still just having random ideas. One is a "Green Acres" type thing with a city gal and her friends moving to the country, but the more I think about it the less I like it.
The other is to create some/all of the characters from an old British comedy TV show called Grace and Favour (known as "Are you Being Served? Again!" in the US) wandering around trying to manage farm life. It's about a group of wacky people who worked in London in a big department store and retired to a manor house in the country; it is very funny, and is the sequel series to the original AYBS?. The problem there is I just can't handle more than 3 sims at a time, while the show had, uh, 8 characters. Now, back when I played Sims 2, I could put 6 to 8 sims in a house and handle them (I often played the Are You Being Served characters on a rotation with my other sims), but now, 3 adults with maybe 1 kid, is my max. Maybe I'll be able to handle more eventually.
Or I could have a vampire walking around with an umbrella, looking shifty...
I'm pretty sure I will create sweet Mavis Moulterd and her scruffy father, Morris, from the G&F show... I don't have to play them, after all. Hm. Maybe I'll create the whole group and stick them somewhere, so they can just wander around...
