Cottage Living: Prep and Plans

I've currently got a family preparing for Cottage Living -- the male Sim is loosely based on a friend of mine who moved here from England about 60 years ago (he's now 87) so it'll be a case of wanting to return home with his family. I've currently got him working on Gardening and Handiness. His wife was a painter but I just had her quit her job to be a home crafter; along with the painting I've got her working on knitting and I'll add in the cross-stitch once the pack is released. With Plopsy (and with their Money Tree) they'll have enough money to live very comfortably, send their kids to college and such. They just moved to a barn conversion in Brindleton Bay but I plan to rebuild it in Henford-on-Bagley if I can find a large enough lot for it and some of the animal sheds.
