It helped a lot to see pictures of the 3 hoods and learn a little about the pre-made families and Henford's history, too. Normally I'd create the family tree with 200 years history of some of the new families, such as the Watson that most likely had an interesting and shiny backstory. But I'll get rid of most pre-mades this time. Don't worry, I have 3 ready households that can be traced back 225 years, even with huge painted portraits of all their peers. It's House of Ross, holding the Rossie dukedom and Shiningham barony since many generations. It's a bit weird placing the Rossie Palace in Old New Henford, but except there would have been better roads uo to a palace, I think it will look great on that Mill Hill top. In my game there existed no Watsons, but House of Ross. It was also Duke Schubret Ross who killed Lord Volpe in a duel, as the lord refused to give up the land that the Ross had been given when their dukedom was introduced by the King - long ago. So, Duke Schubret married Lord Volpe's only daughter.
The 2nd household is Baron Bennet who resides Shiningham Hall, which I pretend was the first larger mansion of Finchwick. Not enormous, but larger than the surroundings, of course. The little park is at its entrance but used to be part of the lot. Both Shiningham Hall and Rossie Palace are owned by the Rossie Trust.
Finally there is the Cracrow Manor, also located in Finchwick. House of Cracrow is actually descending from House of Ross, about 4 generations back. Current head of the house is Tulsa Cracrow, a Paranormal Investigator, also arranging secret seance nights for the upper class, including a better dinner based on local produce, and a glass of the famous rose nectar produced on license by Rossie Trust. Tulsa is not into farming, but her daughter, who has the white eyes syndrome, is warming up as she grows older.
I have plans for more households moving to Henford, but they will be less connected to the local history. :)
