They are similar styles, with different designs. If I loved anything kitchen in my game, I'd love to have them both because they look way better than many other kitchen sets besides I don't think many other designs come with so many matching items. I happen to not be a kitchen player, so I skipped the Country Kitchen kit, and I would probably not have cried if there was less kitchen items in the CoL pac k either. I'd simply combine whatever I have in game already (Cats & Dogs, Get together, Vampires might all have something) or look for a couple cc items if I really missed something essential.
