This version shouldn't have been called TS4. It's not a successor to what came before. Rather, it should have been called The Sims: DIY.

The thing is they are not sitting back. Just because they aren't tell you what are currently in the works, or the content that you wanted hasn't been given to you yet, it dosen't mean they aren't doing anything.

Perhaps you're okay with staple interactions being inexplicably absent. I'm not.

When the community has to work to add the kind of interactions that made the Sims series what it is, there's a serious problem.

I am still very frustrated about this game's lack of couple dancing. Sims dancing together was one of the things that enchanted me about the very first game years ago. I was a young gay boy and there were NO other games at the time that allowed this kind of same sex interaction. I purchased my first entrance into the game shortly after Makin' Magic was released, but I started with The Sims Mega Deluxe and then went from there, slowly building my collection til I got them all, and I fell in love with this game largely because my male sims could *dance with each other*, go out on dates, kiss, etc. By the time I was done, part 2 was released and I went and bought a better graphics card just so I could play it. My favorite features remained present in Sims 2 and when 3 came out, they were still there as well and they were even BETTER. The club dancing with couples was bleeping awesome. The animations were amazing. So this lack of couple dancing is just bitterly disappointing for me with Sims 4. And honestly, even the single person dancing animations that already exist...they don't impress me especially much either. I'm hoping a mod eventually comes along that converts Sims 3 dance animations for use in Sims 4.

I wonder if they will eventually give us a way to take a dance skill to 10. I do really think these things will come but this one for me is also hard to wait for.

i want slow-dancing so bad!!! I tried the mod, but the animation is sub-par. I guess its better than nothing, but I really wish we had something better.

And that's a terrible thing, one of my Sims goes to the club a lot and its weird watching them all dancing side by side.
I try to get them to talk to each other & dance together but its not happening. Hope this changes.

There are mods so you can have your Sims dance together but I have never used them, but have seen them on My Stuff Sims 4.

I wonder if they'd add slow dancing with a 5 level skill in something like a wedding stuff pack.

Yes! I missed the slow dance and other romantic interactions m.

I hope there will be a romance pack that will have these sorts of sweet and romantic interactions.

Thanks for showing us the mod! :smile: I’ll have to see if it’s updated for Seasons, though, before I install any mods.

I want energetic couples dances, like the Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Foxtrot and Tango. Many dances from the early 1900's through to the 1950's were fast paced, and if you were good at them you could throw in a heap of trick steps.
