Cow Plant Eats Sim with Death Off!

I used death.toggle at the start of my save, and I set it to false. I tested it, and I believe the cheat isn't working...
The other day I had my sim eat the cowplant cake twice...She died! (Thankfully, I did NOT lose my progress or my sim! :smile: ) I thought my cowplant would spit my sim out every time.

Doesn't death.toggle false make sims immortal?

Does anyone else have this issue or answers?

Don’t you have to use that at the beginning of every play session or something?

Honestly you're probably better off investing in a mod. The very Base or Base + Cheats (I don't really know what adds what to be honest) version of MCCC allows you to flag sims not to die.

Nope, there is an option to turn aging off!

Right. Aging but I've never seen one to turn death off. Turning aging off would only prevent them from dying from old age as far as I know they can still die, just not from age.

Right. Aging but I've never seen one to turn death off. Turning aging off would only prevent them from dying from old age as far as I know they can still die, just not from age.

I thought Aging off + Death.toggle false = Immortality... :'(
