Creative Elder Sim Ideas - What do you do when they kids leave the house?

As the title states, what do you do to keep things interesting for your elder sims? I play rotational so it's unavoidable. I'm open to mods or new ideas for all types of sims. It's just that s...

Most of my newly aged up YA Sims move into an Apt. or house with other recent YA's ot townies. I like having a bachelor, bachelorette lot, it offers some fun gameplay options including romances. On occasion, I will move the ' rents into my Golden Ages Villa, it's a 7br/ba gallery build on the Twin Oracle Point lot in Newcrest.

Alexander Goth seems to inherit Ophelia Villa a lot in my games, he's usually a scientist and turns that attic room into a labrtory.
