Cricket Flour

It’s stuff made from actual crickets and not sure where to get them because I haven’t gotten my copy of eco living yet

You get it from the new bug farms, just place one on your lot and chose crickets to stock it with. Take care of them and you can get flour and biofuel from them.

For food or biofuel.

Dish: Popcorn Crickets

Crunchy and everything.

Biofuel is used for eco-upgraded household objects.

That just sounds gross tbh my sims will not be eating that

Any info on what Beetle Nuggets are used for?

Quick question, I harvested cricket flour, but cannot make cricket popcorn. Tried the popcorn maker, the microwave, the stove, the fridge and the grill, all with a max cooking sim, but the option doesn't come up. Do I need more than one bag of flour or a different skill, maybe?

Grub Meal - Unsurprisingly, this comes from Grubs. This appears to mainly be used on a grill where you can make "mealworm dogs". Yum.

Cricket Flour - The most versatile of the food ingredients, allows you to make 3 or 4 dishes at the oven and requires the least experience. At level 1 you can cook Popcorn Crickets.

Bombardier Beetle Nuggets - These require Level 5 cooking to use at the oven. Bombardier beetle stir fry looks disgusting, but it's in good company here.

My Sims eat bug dishes. I don't find it gross, and my Sims don't care. In fact, they get an energized moodlet from eating them.

Popcorn Crickets are listed under Cook Off-Grid recipes and regular level 1 recipes - they show up when clicking on a fridge or a stove on and off the grid.

Beetle nuggets are also used in Beetle Juice.

I tried both stove and fridge, but saw nothing. Looks like a mod related problem, then. I'll see what happens in a vanilla game. (Worst case scenario, I'll cook one dish, save it in a very tiny room and import it from there into my modded game whenever I want the dish :D )

Yep, a mod problem it was. LittleMissSam's Seafood Servings was not up to date. I remember (and double-checked) downloading the updates of other mods from the same update post, but must have overlooked this one.
