@simsplayer818 I have tried copy pasto on self made jewellery and it worked in my game. I tested on necklaces, earrings and bracelets. I just copied it and tested if I could wear it. I did not test with restocking for a retail store
Every spell has a chance of failure, for copypasto failure destroys the original and turns it into a pile of ash. Maybe you just had bad luck with trying copypasto. There is a perk to prevent failure from spells.
- simsplayer8181 year agoHero@atreya33 the spell works absolutely fine. It's the actual restocking of the item that isn't possible. So once a copied item has been sold, they can't replace it. The staff member just produces an ash pile on the shelf where the sold item was.
But the spell itself is great for filling a store and rarely fails. I just pop back and carry on using it to stock the shop. - simgirl10101 year agoHero

Thankyou for sharing the link to the Jewellery guide @simgirl1010 ๐ It is very detailed, helpful and informative. It is great to see pictures of and read information about each design.
- simsplayer8181 year agoHero@simgirl1010 That's incredibly useful! It's going to help in another discussion I'm having about the content.
Thank yoooo! - simsplayer8181 year agoHero
This is odd and strangely annoying ๐ค.
My Sim gets Burnout while gem cutting. Oh no! So far though it hasn't happened while jewellery making, just while cutting gems into shapes. Luckily she's only got 2 sets of 12 colours of shapes to make for her store. I really do not like Burnout at all!

It is not good that your sim is getting burn out from cutting gems @simsplayer818 Perhaps you may need to make sure that all her needs are topped when she is going to do the gem cutting and that she also has extra positive moodlets.
- simsplayer8181 year agoHero@rosemow It's odd that it only seems to be the gem cutting. Her needs are high and she has the "Likes Gemology" like. I wish that moodlet solvers worked for it. She has the Hardly Hungry reward trait and the Seldom Sleepy reward trait too. She was all set to start working but after a while she became Dazed.
I'll try taking regular breaks from gem cutting and see if that helps. I'll top up her needs during her breaks too. - rosemow1 year agoHero
I am sorry that you are having this issue when your sim is cutting gems @simsplayer818
I tested it and it isnโt happening to my sim. It may perhaps depend on the traits that sims have? I am not sure.
- simsplayer8181 year agoHero@rosemow Thanks so much for testing, I appreciate it.

Thanks for posting the video @simgirl1010 ๐ There are some good ideas for using Crystal Creations in the video.
- simsplayer8181 year agoHero@rosemow An update on my Gemologist Sim with Burnout...I took your advice about her needs being met. I kept stopping and topping up her needs as she did a 48hr gem cutting session. No Burnout! So it works. That's a great tip to avoid Burnout while crafting because my painters get it too. Thank you!

I am glad that she didnโt have burnout @simsplayer818 ๐ That is great!

I finally found Amber! When my first Crystal Tree reached Magnificent quality it produced a single amber crystal. That may have been a coincidence because it's been producing random crystals so far each day. I saved it to my library to get copies of it.
I also found something not so happy but solvable, my Crystal Tree will revert to a dirt pile randomly and leave crystals floating in mid air. If I move the dirt pile into the household inventory the floating crystals will go with it so I can grab them.

Congratulations on getting the amber from your crystal tree! @simsplayer818 ๐ That is great!
I am sorry that you are having the issue with the crystal tree turning into a dirt pile. You may like to post about it on this threadhttps://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/CURRENT-ISSUE-Plants-reverting-to-Dirt-Piles/m-p/13008501
- simsplayer8181 year agoHero@rosemow Thanks! I was just about to look for that thread. I used to have a link to it but accidentally deleted it lol!

My jewellery store, Mystical Crystals is finally completed and fully stocked. I'm going to add another one in a different world and different style because I've enjoyed making this one so much. I've picked Del sol Valley and called it Love Crystals โฅ๏ธ.
I thought I loved flower arranging the most of all the skills but I love the Gemology skill even more.

It is great that your jewellery store is completed and full stocked! @simsplayer818 ๐ It is nice that you are planning to build another one in Del Sol Valley with a different style. You will enjoy creating this new one also. Gemology is a fun skill to do!
Are you planning on uploading your first store to the gallery?
