As far as the vampire breaking in, at least with Vlad, I just have my sims lock their exterior doors to keep them in and Vlad out.

Do you need the pack to become a vampire or can you do it by another way?

I had vlad break in, and tidy up my dirty dishes.

You need to have the pack.

Vampires do still break in. Be sure to lock the doors!

And yes. Children make messes but I dont think as much as they used to? Or maybe I just quit noticing it?

Vampires still break in. Locking doors will not stop them. I have only noticed a few kid messes lately and they have only been around playground equipment.

However there is a few new incredibly annoying things that have started happening with seasons. One is leaf piles. They are placed randomly in neighborhoods and they start to rot. They never go away. The second is coffee cups being left all over town. NPC sims will get a coffee and when the are done they set it on the ground and leave. They do not throw it in the trash. In fact, you can’t even clean them up yourself. They just stay there adding up...

Inna Cents broke into my sims apartment. I had the door locked, but unlocked it because I wasn't sure she was break in in or not til she came in and but my sim. Soon as she did she just walked off and left.

@Devynsims00 I mean Vampires always randomly break in less you're talking about community lots, which I've yet have happen. I tend to get one vampire attack every two sim weeks about the same for abductions which is even rarer.

Kids still make messes, but in my game it's not terrible anymore covering the whole playgrounds and such. Maybe since Seasons was installed?

It was crazy stuff. I wonder if dirty dishes are like the myth of throwing sunflower seeds causing a vampire to stop and count them. Maybe dirty dishes make them stop and clean up. If it's not a thing, they should make it a thing!

The vampires breaking in, I don't really see that as much as when the GP first came out. It rarely happens in my game.
Children making messes....I don't really see that too much either. It's pretty rare.
