When this patch comes out I might go back to play my dear favorite sim, Frank Miner. He dreamed of owning a restaurant way before they even became a possibility. He owns one, but I never played it out to 5 star because he was " unemployed" and that ruined who he was for me because his pride was in owning the best possible place to eat in all the lands of Sims. Now he can wear that badge with honour and be proud to say he owns his restaurant!
It makes a HUGE difference in how I see my sims and their goals.

I hope so too. I miss it sometimes but just can't seem to find a reason to open it up and play it as it is. Still waiting for more depth and meaning to the characters.- I’m glad we got custom titles for self-employed, yay! Now a few of my sims won’t be unemployed bums who keep requesting jobs, lol!
Hmmm... I have to see the GF videos, but would the custom jobs work with the fame and reputation systems in GF?
