Custom Saves, what do you think?

She's an awesome builder and I love pretty much everything she shares. Makes it easy for me because I don't build anymore. I started my own base save at one point pulling lots from the Gallery and giving some of the EA lots a makeover but it's too much work for how little I play Sims 4. I would rather have it done for me.

Oh my word that is awesome!!!!!! I think I am going to do this with my save file I am working on!!! Remove any of the CC before I do though!!!!

I just took a look at jenba's save file. A lot of work really went into this. More then I have ever though of doing!!! It gave me some awesome and now I want to recreate my save file....LOL

I have jenba's save file and I love it! She took out all the premades as she had so many families she added (which are played), she thought it would be too many Sims, along with the townies the game will add. It wasn't. I kept her original save as it is a whole new world with the builds and Sims she made.

I like the premades so I put them all back in, along with a few other families and builds I've downloaded and particularly like and saved it also. Yes, it is packed, but there's still room for a lot more Sims (townies included) and builds in the worlds she didn't touch.

So now I have 3 different worlds to start my new save game in. The Maxis original, jenba's original, and jenba's original with premades and extra Sims and builds I added.

I really wish more people would do this type of save game and make it available for those like me who can't build or make decent Sims to fill the worlds and make the gaming experience great. It can be very difficult and time consuming to download lot by lot, or household by household to make a save game at least full enough to experience it all.

There are many Simmers here who do create their own builds and Sims, and even their own townies. In Sims 3 we could get or buy new worlds with different builds and Sims. In Sims 4, this is the only way to get new worlds. It may be the same maps, but the different Sims and Builds really does make it a different game.

Now that I know you can share saves I was thinking about doing this, but my builds are nothing compared to hers. I hate landscaping on most of what I build because I am just no good at it...LOL Once in a while I will pop out a few great landscaping but not often.

I think you should go for it @GoddessSims. We all have different tastes and your builds might be exactly what someone is looking for.

I am! I created a whole brand new save in which I will be working on one world at a time. Right now I am working on getting Oasis Springs done. It's the world I am putting the greater majority of my community and venues lots because I don't really like it and I know it's the only way I will ever play in it....LOL I'm working on building a music school right now.

That is great to hear @GoddessSims! Your builds and Sims are fantastic. I have some of them!

@GoddessSims if you download s4s you can use a batch fix to disable all cc for random. townies made by the game wont use cc then (just take out default replacement eyes and maybe cas unlocks before using the fix and put those back into the folder after doing the fix)
Thats how I do it so the game wont use my weird cc for them.
