Deaf & HoH Simmers, how do you feel about hearing aids in the Sims?

It is very interesting to hear from someone who has hearing aids. As someone who has no experience in this topic, I saw it as a nice gesture towards inclusivity. But without gameplay or consequences attached, it is nothing more than gesture.
