Yeah, the festival mascot in Snowy Escape shows up once in a while and walks into my Sim's home, whether or not there's a festival going on. Could be a glitch, who knows. No big deal.

Makes me think back to when the Grim Reaper used to show up in various locations, death or no death. :open_mouth:

As for the computer security setting, yes, I have it, but I keep forgetting to turn it on, just as I keep forgetting to lock the doors. :P

I know, sometimes I forget to do the same. Another player alerted me to the fact that the doors won't lock if a Sim is already headed for them. That explains a lot to me. I'm also wondering if locking the computer has that same issue?

That makes sense, yes. It'll be a little too late when they're already on their way. I think there's a glitch with locking computers as well, as I've experienced other Sims using them even if I locked them.

I've had dormmates sitting as the desk where the laptop is, but I haven't noticed them able to use the computer. I am now very much in the habit of locking the device as soon as I place it on the desk, though. Prior to this, others were able to use it despite it being "locked". :open_mouth: Now we know where some of those plagiarized Term papers originated, no?
