Dear Little Sims,
There is NO ROOM in your tiny lot that was all you could afford, for a pool. So I am putting it in the basement: Sorry but there is NO ROOM on the lot for stairs, but maybe it will fulfill that irritating recurring wish. Also, why do you want a washtub when you ALREADY have a washer that works? I'm putting that in the basement too. If a one-tile ladder ever magically appears in the game, you may be able to access them. Also, QUIT washing your dishes in the bathroom sink!
Also, to those of you in my CAS custom content testing save, sorry but your clothes, hair, makeup, and shoes are going to disappear and be replaced with new ones about once an hour in your Sim lives, with a few exceptions. You all make fabulous models. Don't worry, the new clothes will look great! I won't save the look until it is! Sorry about the lack of affordable housing, once you get big enough families I'll move you into a nice big mansion for free.
