I also really dislike the hysteria death. It's overly goofy and counterintuitive to the excessive happiness buffs that our Sims get for almost everything in the game. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.
I also dislike the death by embarrassment because that doesn't make any sense to me, but the anger death does.
Now, if we had an actual Fear emotion, a terrified death would have made total sense. So would death by sadness, but I think the reason they left that out is because it could be too closely related to suicide.
