So I have a challenge with a sim who can't be released from her home, date or get married until her mother dies. Problem is I can't cheat the death of her mother and the aging is turned off (this is a generation challenge but I usually use the general idea and rules but add to them for story lines)I know that I can starve her to death with no door but what are some other ways? Since she is hotheaded she is more likely to die from anger than other sims so that is one possibility though it is very hard to cause emotional deaths in first placeshe could also grow a little cowplant that is my favourite death in ts4 cause if you just leave the poor buddy hungry and take the cake twice its sure death to sim of choice and does not include sitting for hours waiting for them to perishthen there is the fire ofcourse but its kind of hard to do without locking your sim in unnaturally small set up room tooif she is elder she could also die by overextertion aka woohoo or exercise too much thats fairly easyaand theres always drowning pool you could fence your sim in...temperature deaths are also fairly easy if you have the right weatheri mean i guess she also could go to strangerville and be eaten by motherplant idk :lol: i mean she is enemies with mad scientists...

If you want to work with her traits you can have her die of cardiac explosion also. Just invite her declared enemies over and have her get mean with them, fight ect. If you up that with angry emotional aura stuff that will work with some effort. I usually use angry paintings. You'll have to get her enraged and stay that way for it to kick in.Mortimer isn't hot headed so he can probably live through it. @Simmingal actually her daughter is allowed to keep up the family garden and had a high gardening skill. I totally didn't think of the cow plant. Perhaps mommy dearest brings it home and oh no backfires badly. Hmm. I like this. Also the Mother in Strangerville is a great idea.

@Hermitgirl what if death is one of her declared enemies? She has 4 declared enemies and an atrocious reputation and death is an enemy. How do I keep enemies from leaving?

Oh, my favorite is The Cow Plant, takes two feedings on the same sim— it always seems for the devouring but always a fun way!

I seem to remember on one of the Rocket Ship random missions I would get it... But haven’t had one in a game of mine in.... Idk years now...
I hate letting my sims hit elder, so, used the cow plant to let them be no older than ‘adult’ as ghosts...

@wahini2024 Yes, have her sit in the sauna for a while (I have found they’ll sit there longer if they’re listening to music) and if she stands up, make her relax again. She will get an “overheated” (or something like that) moodlet. Now you just have to watch her a bit longer and keep her relaxing there until it overcomes her.
