How do you feel about the demise of your sims?

When I let my sims go it's most of the time because they have reached the end of their story, I have nothing to give them anymore and I don't want to have them around any longer. At that point it just feels like a natural ending. It can be a bit sad if the sim is dear to me, but it can also be fun if it's a sim I'm not fond of and I have planned to kill them in a certain way o:)
