How do you feel about the demise of your sims?

I spend a lot of time creating my sims, developing their characters and building their homes. I'll even edit community lots to try and give my sims plenty of things to do in the world they reside in, so I'd rather they didn't die.
I always have aging turned off, and since I started playing a rotational save, it's actually nice to see some of my sims just walking by, or hanging out at a community lot.
