Also did a bit of digging into Sims 3 Generations and the announcement trailer came out on the 5th of April, 2011. That means that the 2nd of April this year is the closest Friday to the 10 year anniversary of it being announced. Generations was also the first pack in the series (excluding online) that added bunk beds to the game.
